About Me
In early 2020 I began photography as a hobby, and quite successfully making short videos for my favorite mobile game, Orna. This developed further than I expected when I ended up creating the trailer for the game (for a time). This did not scratch my itch to evocate and experience the same worlds I was inspired by. I took an advanced media course in my final year of college, and self-taught Blender in order to make an experimental animated web-comic, perfectly looping, 3D yet appearing uniquely stylized. I was successful, although there is a lot more I need to learn. Later on, I expanded to professional videography and photography with local media companies, past media peers, and newfound clients.
Above all else, I hold firm belief in this quote: “Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”
To me, this perpetuates thoughts of preparation, organization, and patience. I live by these personal rules and want my art to reflect that, albeit counterculturally to our otherwise fast paced and stimulating environment. I believe in slowness and the emotion it carries, to fulfilling myself and bringing what I see as beautiful to life.
